Android apps built around real device behavior.
I develop Android applications with Flutter, React Native, and native Android technologies. My background includes native Android point-of-sale software, and my published work includes the BeTracky Flutter location package. I can help with a new application, a platform integration, or an existing Android codebase that needs attention. We start by identifying the devices, workflows, and integrations the app must support, then define a release that your users can actually test.
What I can help with
- Android apps with Flutter or React Native, backed by APIs and local storage
- Native Android / Java work and device-specific integrations
- Background location features with clear permission and session controls
- Offline workflows, synchronization, notifications, and error handling
- Existing Android app reviews, bug fixes, and dependency maintenance
- Device testing, signing and Google Play release preparation
Decisions before development
An Android-only product may need different choices from a shared Android and iOS app. Before selecting the approach, we review required hardware access, any existing code, offline needs, and the devices used by your audience. Location permissions, background execution, and battery restrictions need explicit test cases. For a release, we also agree on who owns the Play Console account and signing access, which store materials are needed, and how updates will be maintained. A successful build is the start of release preparation, not proof that every device workflow or store requirement is covered.
A focused project brief makes the first conversation more useful. Describe the problem, your users, and the features you consider essential.
